Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of ASACPEV Inc. provides leadership, governance, and support for the work of Clinical Pastoral Education across Victoria.

Comprised of experienced educators, supervisors, and spiritual care professionals, the Committee meets regularly to guide the Association’s direction, maintain standards, and promote excellence in the practice of supervision and spiritual/pastoral care.

    Rev. Lauren Mosso, President

    Lauren is the Centre Director at Uniting CPE – The John Paver Centre and Chaplaincy Coordinator for the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria and Tasmania.  Lauren was the Senior Chaplain and CPE educator at Epworth HealthCare from 2015 to 2022.  She is a Clinical Pastoral Educator and holds theological qualifications, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Professional Supervision from the University of Divinity.

    Andrew Somerville, Vice President

    Andrew is a Clinical Pastoral Educator and works at Epworth Health as the Pastoral Care Manager and CPE Centre Director. Before CPE, Andrew worked as the Minister of a Baptist Church for 19 years.

    Jane Monk, Registrar

    Jane is a Clinical Pastoral Supervisor based at Uniting CPE: The John Paver Centre, and a Pastoral Care Practitioner within the St Vincent's Health team. Jane has previously served as Secretary.  Before entering the Pastoral Care profession, Jane worked in the Workplace Rehabilitation profession and held senior roles within their Association (ARPA).

    Fran Prem, Secretary

    Fran is a Professional and Clinical Pastoral Supervisor with the Royal Melbourne Hospital CPE Centre, has a private supervisory practice and offers community-based Spiritual Care.  She has held the roles of General Member, Minutes Secretary, and now Secretary.
